It’s been a few days since I’ve posted — I’ve been toggling with some different topics to talk about since my Weight Watcher’s post. After a few conversations with a couple of friends, it hit me! #WeightWatchers

As my “About Lauren-Lately”  page says, I just recently married the most incredible man in the world! 🙂 The journey to fit in my dress was, in my opinion, one for the books.


On August 9, 2016, I said YES to my soulmate! Of course, as any newly engaged girl would do, I started wedding planning right away. Within a couple of weeks I had my sisters and best friend as my bridesmaids, the wedding colors picked out and had decided on a theme. I even started buying some decorations.

Less than a month after our engagement I was dress shopping. I knew what color I wanted and the look I was going for – vintage, not white, nothing too froo froo and frilly.

The girl at the dress shop was super helpful. Within minutes of arriving at the store, we had the dressing room filled with beautiful dresses for me to try on. I was so excited!
